Hello Murray,  Just thought we would drop you a note to let you know how impressed we were with the pig roast. Everyone really enjoyed chowing down. A pig on a spit is quite an attraction and with your special blend of spices, the finished product was scrumptious.  You can certainly tell you enjoy what you do.  Keep it up!

We can't thank you enough for helping us with our annual charity BBQ for the R.J. Hawkey Elementary School Breakfast Program.  

Your exceptional skills and organization kept us ahead of the rush of customers.  The food was excellent and we have customers coming in up to a year later still saying how tasty everything was and that they cant wait to attend our next fundraising event provided you're there!

Murray, we truly appreciate your time and effort and look forward to having you back, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to anyone who is interested in having GREAT food.  You are a chef extraordinaire.

To celebrate the baptism of our first child in the spirit of our Slovenian tradition, we asked Murray to prepare a whole lamb for our extended family. We were delightfully impressed with the finished product and as the centre piece for our celebration, we couldn't have been happier.

During the years Murray and Lynn were parishioners, we had numerous occasions to benefit from Murray's love of and proficiency at preparing meals.

The food was always top quality, the flavours enhancing, and the company of the two Hugheses delightful.

Great Food from a Great Guy

I first met Murray and his wife Lynn when they moved in as our next door neighbors about ten years ago.  Very shortly thereafter, a large gathering took place in their backyard that revolved around a pig roast over a special BBQ devised by Murray.  Our family was graciously invited over to get better acquainted with Murray, Lynn and their family and sample the culinary works of Murray.  Thus began a long and wonderful friendship and an opportunity to enjoy Murray's cooking.

The neighbors soon began having regular weekend dinners together which revolved around Murray's ability to ever increasingly impress with his ability to create taste sensations out of seemingly common dishes.

Murray has an ability to understand the reaction process of spices, vegetables and the food dishes they are blended with, much like a chemist would understand blending chemical elements.  This understanding brings out the flavor of the food such that taste expectations are always exceeded.  My only regret with Murray's cooking was the fact that I get full and continue to eat until it hurts. That and my expanding waistline.

We are no longer next door neighbors as our families grew larger and roomier accommodations were necessary, but we still get together to visit, and of course dine on the marvelous works from Murray's kitchen.

My wife and I feel very fortunate to have friends in Murray and Lynn and to have the chance to dine together enjoying Murray's culinary talents.
